HYATS, L.L.C., the Franchisor, is a Utah limited liability company, whose principal business address and telephone number are 4833 North Edgewood Drive, Provo, Utah 84604 and (801) 222-9004.

HYATS, L.L.C. offers and sells Teriyaki Stix® Franchise Licenses to qualified entities and individuals which permit the licensees thereof to use HYATS' Systems and Proprietary Marks in the operation of Teriyaki Stix® Franchise Restaurant, selling Japanese-style fast food and related items. HYATS, L.L.C. offers separately, Franchise Licenses for Hogi Yogi® Franchise Restaurants which sell sandwiches, frozen yogurt, smoothies, and related items. As provided herein, a Teriyaki Stix® Franchise License may be combined with a Hogi Yogi® Franchise License for operation of a combination Hogi Yogi®/Teriyaki Stix® Franchise Restaurant.

The Franchise Fee for a first time Franchise License varies from $15,000 to $30,000 depending upon the type, format and combination of Franchise License(s) acquired. The estimated initial investment required of the Franchisee (including the Franchise Fee) is approximately $108,200 to $419,500 for a Teriyaki Stix® Franchise Restaurant, and approximately $135,200 to $452,500 for a combination Hogi Yogi®/Teriyaki Stix® Franchise Restaurant.

1.   THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT PERMITS THE FRANCHISEE TO SUE THE FRANCHISOR ONLY IN UTAH. OUT OF STATE LITIGATION MAY FORCE YOU TO ACCEPT A LESS FAVORABLE SETTLEMENT FOR DISPUTES. IT MAY ALSO COST MORE TO SUE THE FRANCHISOR IN UTAH THAN IN YOUR HOME STATE.

2. THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT STATES THAT UTAH LAW GOVERNS THE AGREEMENT, AND THIS LAW MAY NOT PROVIDE THE SAME PROTECTIONS AND BENEFITS AS LOCAL LAW. YOU MAY WANT TO COMPARE THESE LAWS.
