You may also provide services for individual business clients whose advertisements are mailed on an individual basis to domiciles within a designated territory or to selected customers of these business clients ("Individual Mailings"). The Co-op Mailings and Individual Mailings are collectively referred to as the "Direct Mail Advertising Business" or "Business".

The franchise fee is $35,500 based on the minimum franchise Co-op Mailing territory of 50,000 mailable domiciles, among other factors. Risk Factors:

1.         THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT PERMITS YOU TO ARBITRATE WITH US ONLY IN CALIFORNIA. OUT OF STATE ARBITRATION MAY FORCE YOU TO ACCEPT A LESS FAVORABLE SETTLEMENT FOR DISPUTES. IT MAY ALSO COST MORE TO ARBITRATE IN CALIFORNIA THAN IN YOUR HOME STATE.

2.         THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT STATES THAT CALIFORNIA LAW GOVERNS THE AGREEMENT, AND THIS LAW MAY NOT PROVIDE THE SAME PROTECTIONS AND BENEFITS AS LOCAL LAW. YOU MAY WANT TO COMPARE THESE LAWS.

3.         THERE MAY BE OTHER RISKS CONCERNING THE FRANCHISE.

Information about comparisons of franchisors is available. Call the California Department of Corporations at any of its offices or your public library for sources of information.
